MANILA — In a move to infuse Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovation in healthcare solutions, healthcare products supplier Karl Group Holdings Corp. signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with AI consulting company Senti Techlabs on Monday, May 11.

The MOU, signed by Senti AI and Karl Group’s IT subsidiary Innovare Techne Systems, formalizes the agreement of both parties to collaborate in bringing and promoting AI Healthcare solutions into the Philippine market.

Karl Group, which owns more than nine corporations, offers various healthcare products and devices in the Philippines. Innovare Techne specializes in offering AI-powered medical devices.

Ralph Regalado, CEO and founder of Senti AI, said that the partnership between two organizations would hopefully open the doors to explore how AI can benefit the medical industry.

"Utilizing AI in this field is not just about streamlining processes, it's about enhancing human capabilities and improving how we can save lives, as well as improve the quality of life of patients,” Regalado said.

“Our collaboration with Karl Group aims to fuse our AI expertise into their operations so they can provide better service to the Filipino people.”

Senti AI is the first Google Cloud partner in Southeast Asia to have been granted an expertise in Machine Learning. The company has worked with public and private sectors to deliver various custom AI solutions.
